Bangladesh ferry capsizes, scores feared dead

A passenger ferry in Bangladesh with at least 250 people on board has capsized, killing an unknown number of people, reports said.
The vessel was crossing Padma river in the district of Munshiganj, which is in central Bangladesh, according to reports. Water transport officials said they had few details about the cause of the mishap or the fate of the passengers.
Ferry mishaps are not uncommon in the country as boats are frequently overloaded.
