Flights have resumed from Bali's international airport. The airports were shut down following an eruption of Mount Agung. The eruption resulted in volcanic ash cloud. Around 100,000 people were ordered to evacuate to safer areas. Media reports quoted officials as saying that in case the winds changed direction, the airport may again be shut down. Authorities have also stated that due to a huge backlog of flights, tourists may face long waits.
