Australian PM Turnbull Got Challenged Again
August 23 , 2018
There doesn't seem to be stability coming in the Australia government anytime soon. Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has been again challenged by the former Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton for the post of the party leader. This has happened for the second time in a span of one week. However, Turnbull has stated that only in the case he receives a petition which indicates most of its party members don't support him, he would hold a vote of leadership.
Calling the campaign against him a madness, he stated that “Australians will be rightly appalled by what they're witnessing in their nation's parliament today and in the course of this week.”
