Australian Cricket Team's Ball Tampering Scandal makes Cricket Australia to Launch Probe
March 25 , 2018
Cricket Australia CEO James Sutherland expressed his shock and extreme disappointment after the recent ball-tampering scandal that involved Australian team currently touring South Africa. The scandal came to light after Cameron Bancroft admitted of tampering ball in Cape Town on Saturday, followed by Australian captain Steve Smith admitting about knowing the plan in advance. Reports say 2 senior CA officials will visit South Africa for gathering relevant information. Though there is increasing pressure on captain Steve Smith to step down from captaincy, Sutherland has made it clear that the process is going on and for now Steve Smith will remain captain.
