Attack on trolleybus kills 13 in Donetsk
January 23 , 2015
An explosion hit a trolleybus in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk area on Thursday, January 22, killing at least 13 people, media reports said.
Russia's and Ukraine's foreign ministers had agreed on Wednesday that government forces and rebels would pull back their artillery from front lines. But the continued violence could derail that signed agreement.
The pro-Russia separatists released a list of 13 victims, aged from 23 to 76.
Earlier in January, a bus was struck at a checkpoint, resulting in the death of 13 people. So far, around 5,000 people have been killed in the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
