At least 45 dead in attack near Shia shrine in Syria

  • Around 45 people were killed in three blasts in Syria. According to media reports, the attacks took place near Sayyida Zeinab, a Shia shrine located south to the capital Damascus. The ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack. The attack on the shrine took place as the delegation from the Syrian government and opposition groups gathered in Geneva to attend the UN-sponsored peace talks.
