At least 15 soldiers killed in Yemen conflict

Fifteen soldiers were killed and seventeen other wounded in an ambush in the town of Ahwar in Abyan province of Yemen. Officials have blamed al-Qaeda for the ambush. However, the organisation’s left wing has denied any involvement in this. The country has been witnessing war for the past one year between military units loyal to the former president and Saudi-led coalition. The war has left more than 6,300 people dead according to the United Nations. Peace talks between the warring factions is due on the April 18.
