Around 42 killed in Egypt, Islamists call for uprising

In Cairo, around 42 people were killed when protesters, infuriated by the military’s oust of the President Mohamed Morsi, were fired upon at the Cairo military barracks. Over 200 people were wounded in this incident.
As per the military, a group of armed assailants tried to storm in their compound and that is why the soldiers returned fire when they were attacked.
