Argentina Navy Stops Looking for Missing Submarine

Argentina navy declared that it has stopped efforts to locate the 44 survivors of the missing submarine, ARA San Juan. The navy took the decision after reports surfaced of explosions near the vicinity, where the submarine was last known to be. The submarine was last reported on 15 November at 10:30 GMT and the captain confirmed that the crew is all well. A few days before the submarine went missing, it also reported issues of “electrical breakdown” and a “short circuit” in the batteries of vessels.
