Anni Dewani murder: Man convicted of killing newlywed dies in jail

  • Xolile Mngeni, the man convicted of murdering Anni Dewani during her South African honeymoon, has died in jail.

    Mngeni, a South African who was sentenced to life for shooting Dewani in 2012, was diagnosed with brain tumor, and died of the cancer.

    British businessman Shrien Dewani, who went back to the UK after his wife’s death, is accused of masterminding Anni’s murder in a case that has caught the attention of the world’s media.
