New York-bound Amtrak train derails in Philadelphia; five killed, over 50 injured

An Amtrak train bound for New York derailed in Philadelphia killing at least five people and injuring more than 50. There were about 240 passengers on board the Amtrak passenger train that left Washington on Tuesday night. According to passengers, the train got derailed at Frankford Avenue and Wheatsheaf Lane around 9:45 pm local time. The cause of the crash was not immediately known. The officials from the Philadelphia Fire Department said that the toll was growing as firefighters were continuing with the rescue operation.
