American Keni Harrison breaks 28 year old Record in 100m hurdles

  • 23-year-old American Keni Harrison clocked 12.20 seconds in 100m hurdles at the London Anniversary Games to break a 28 year old world record. The previous record was held by Bulgaria’s Yordanka Donkova since 1988 and her clocked time was 12.21 seconds. While talking to the media, Keni said that she achieved this iconic feat because she wanted to prove her mettle after failing to make it to the top three chosen for the Rio Olympics. She said “I've still got a lot left in me”.
