All Nations except the USA Renew Pledge to Implement Paris Agreement on Climate

19 countries among the 20 countries (except the United States of America) in the G20 group have renewed their pledge of implementing Paris climate deal. With violent protests at the streets of Germany’s Hamburg (which hosted G20 summit), joint summit statement released yesterday noted that the exit decision taken by the USA from the Paris Agreement without undermining the commitment of other nations. German Chancellor Angela Merkel deplored US President Donald Trump’s stance on the Paris climate agreement but expressed her gratification on the opposition of the renegotiation by other 19 countries of the G20 group.
