Airline workers held hostage over missing jet
April 27 , 2014
There was a hostage crisis when Chinese family members didn't let airline workers leave a hotel in Beijing. About 10 workers were held hostage for 11 hours by 200 relatives, who said they weren't satisfied with what they had heard.
Moreover, dozens of family members protested as airline officials were kept inside the hotel.
They were freed before 2 am and the only damage suffered by one of them was a kick to the knee. Chinese families have been expressing their complaints about the search for weeks, which they said has been incompetant.
