AirAsia crash: One black box recovered

  • The flight data recorder of AirAsia Flight QZ8501, which crashed on December 28 while flying from Indonesia to Singapore, has been recovered, according to media reports.

    The Indonesian search and rescue agency said divers were still searching for the cockpit voice recorder.

    The plane, with 162 crew and passengers on board, had crashed into the Java Sea amid bad weather. While dozens of bodies have been recovered, many are still believed to be trapped inside the main body of the plane.
