A village in Afghanistan that was buried in a recent landslide is now being called a "cemetery." The BCC reported that rescuers lost hope of finding any survivors in the mountainous region.
It will most likely take a while to determine how many people were killed but an estimated death toll ranges between 350 and 2,700.
"The scale of this landslide is absolutely devastating, with an entire village practically wiped away," an official source said. "Hundreds of families have lost everything and are in immense need of assistance."
