Actress suing magazine for affair story with Hollande
January 17 , 2014
French magazine Closer revealed that actress Julie Gayet was having an affair with Francois Hollande. The magazine was the first to have reported the affair and is now in a messy situation since Gayet is demanding over $73,000 for having her privacy violated.
French president Hollande said he wanted to take legal action as well but BBC reported that he has chosen to change his mind. He has neither denied nor confirmed the alleged affair as of yet.
This doesn't mean that the magazine is going to stop providing the public with more details: Reports suggest that it promised more photos as well as details in the next issue.
