Abducted Syrians killed in U.S. air strike in Libya

  • Air strike on an Islamist State jihadist camp killed two Serbian embassy employees who were kidnapped in November last year. Their death was seen as an unfortunate consequence of the attack. Sladjana Stankovic, the communication chief at the embassy and her driver Jovica Stepic were abducted from the city of Sabratha from a convoy heading towards the Tunisian border. Their bodies have been flown back to Serbia on Friday.
