80 US troops to search for kidnapped girls
May 22 , 2014
The US is trying hard to help keep its promise of bringing back the Nigerian abducted girls. According to the White House, it sent 80 troops to help with the situation and the Washington Post reports that "these personnel will support the operation of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft for missions over northern Nigeria and surrounding area."
The White House also mentioned in its letter that the troops will remain in the region until they're no longer required to.
In another news, Nigeria believes that Boko Haram was also responsible for the car bombing yesterday.
