80 missing after Canada train fire

A freight train loaded with oil derailed and burst into flames in the small Canadian town of Lac-Megantic and at least 80 people are missing as a result of this tragedy.
This accident created a spectacular fireball, as reported by the witnesses. It also forced 2,000 people from their homes.
Six major explosions were reported by the witnesses during the night. Moreover, Michel Brunet, a spokesman for Quebec's provincial police said at least one person was killed and a second was injured in the incident. On the other hand, Radio Canada reported 60 people being unaccounted for in Lac- Megantic. There have also been reports from people who were unable to reach relatives that lived near the accident site.
The cause of the crash is still unknown and an investigator from Canada's transportation safety agency was quickly dispatched to the scene to investigate.
