5.0 magnitude earthquake hits Afghanistan

Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region was struck by a 5.0 magnitude earthquake. As per media reports, the tremors of the earthquake were felt in Islamabad, capital of Pakistan, and also in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. The earthquake’s epicenter was 232km deep in Badakhshan area. So far, there have been no reports of damage to life or property.
