Around 40 people were feared killed when an Antonov-140 propeller passenger plane crashed in Iran, reports said.
Sepahan Airlines Flight 5915 crashed shortly after take-off from Tehran’s Mehrabad International Airport, and the cause may have been engine failure, reports said.
The aircraft was carrying 48 passengers and crew. Iran’s roads and urban development ministry said the flight's black boxes had been found. A few people on the ground were also injured because of the crash. Some crash victims suffered severe burn injuries.
