4.8-magnitude earthquake hits Sicily

  • Volcano Mount Etna in Europe erupted on Monday, causing an earthquake of 4.8-magnitude in Sicily, on Wednesday near the municipality of Viagrande. When the volcanic eruption occurred, people on the mountain region were asked to evacuate. Yet, around two people were injured due to the earthquake and panic struck among the local residents.
