38 killed in Baghdad car bombings

At least 38 people were killed in Baghdad in multiple car bomb attacks targeting Shia areas.
A suicide bomber slammed his car into a checkpoint at Khazimiyah, a northern district of the capital, killing 13 people and wounding 28.
In another car bombing, seven people were killed and 18 wounded in northwestern Baghdad’s Shula district.
A suicide car bomb attack targeting a security checkpoint, also in Shula, killed another 18 people, reports said.
