36 killed as suicide bombers target Chad village

  • At least 36 people have been killed and dozens wounded in suicide bomb attacks in a village in Chad that is home to many Nigerians.

The coordinated attacks on Baga Sola village were carried out by five suicide bombers, including two minors and two women, police said. Authorities have blamed the Nigeria-based Boko Haram Islamist group for the suicide bombings.

While one group of bombers targeted a busy market, a second group attacked a refugee camp, reports said.
