35 Pilgrims Killed in an Accident on Their Way to Medina

Saudi officials held a press conference on Thursday and confirmed that thirty-five foreigners were killed when a bus cannon with another heavy vehicle (loader) alongside the Muslim holy city of Medina. As per the local media, those who lost their life during the incident were mostly Arab and Asian pilgrims. The injured were taken to the nearby Al-Hamma Hospital. It is observed that every year a similar accident takes place. In April 2018, four British pilgrims were killed and 12 was injured in Saudi Arabia when a bus banged into a duel tanker. In 2017, six Britons including babies were killed in a mini bus on their way to Medina. A special investigation have been launched by the authorities to probe on the matter.
