3 Killed and 7 Injured Near Occupied Golan Heights after Israel Airstrikes

  • Syrian state media has said that 3 Syrian soldiers were killed as 7 others wounded after airstrikes by Israel. The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (a war monitor of the opposition) has reported that 10 persons were killed out of which 7 were Iranian and Hezbollah militants. The Israeli military has confirmed the attacks by releasing images through a series of tweets on Sunday. They went on to say that the airstrikes were in response to the rockets fired from Syria towards the occupied Golan Heights late on Saturday. SANA, state news agency, has said that the concerned Israeli attacks struck military positions, Hezbollah fighters of Lebanon, and arms depot of Iranian troops in Quneitra, located near the Israel-occupied Golan Heights.
