March 19 , 2013
At least 20 people were killed in a series of explosions at a bus station in the northern Nigerian city of Kano on Monday.
A number of buses were destroyed in the city’s Sabon Gari district, home to a large population of Christians.
Kano is the largest city in northern Nigeria, a predominantly Muslim region.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the blasts though Islamist militants from Boko Haram have attacked the city several times.
