An underground train derailed in the Moscow metro, killing at least 20 people and injuring 150 during the morning rush hour, according to media reports.
The mishap occurred between the stations of Park Pobedy and Slavyansky Bulvar. Some reports indicated that the driver braked suddenly because of a false fire alarm. Many carriages fell on the side of the tracks.
Rescue workers had to cut through metal to free some of the victims trapped inside. Russian authorities have ruled out a terrorist attack.
