13 killed in landslide in Pakistan

  • At least 13 members, including seven children, of a family were killed in a landslide in Pakistan's Karachi city, media reported. The tragic accident took place around 2 a.m. when rocks and soil fell on a slum, burying three camps of a labourers' family in Gulstan-e-Jauhar area of the city, Xinhua quoted from local media reports. Rescuers and local residents rushed to the site and dug out 13 bodies, including seven children and three women from the rubble. Source: IANS
