10 killed in rocket attack in eastern Ukraine

  • Ukraine’s military has said that rocket fire by pro-Russia fighters have killed 10 civilians and injured several others in Nyzhnya Krynka village in the country’s east.

    The continuing violence comes despite a fragile ceasefire between Kiev and the rebels that was put forward by Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.

    According to government forces, the separatists used Grad rockets of Russian make to target the village, which is close to the rebel-controlled city of Donetsk.
