US: User data leaked after dating website Adult Friend Finder gets hacked

  • Dating website Adult Friend Finder has approached the police after a possible leak of client data.

    FriendFinder Networks, the site’s owner, said that it was aware of the seriousness of the issue.

    According to some media reports, personal information of up to four million Adult Friend Finder members may have been comprised, including details such as sexual preferences and email addresses.

    FriendFinder Networks said that it would be hard to “determine with certainty the full scope of the incident” till the investigation is completed.
