US: Josh Greenberg, co-founder of music streaming website, found dead

  • Josh Greenberg, the 28-year-old co-founder of a music streaming website that recently shut down, was found dead at his home in Florida, the US police said. The police have said there was no evidence to suggest “foul play or suicide”.

Grooveshark, which was created in 2006, shut in April this year after years of legal pressure from record labels. A US court said that the site could be liable for more than $700 million in damages for copyright violations.
