US firm Jawbone to start deliveries of fitness tracker UP3 from April 20

  • American company Jawbone will start deliveries of its much-touted fitness tracker UP3 from April 20, after a delay of four months.

However, it said that the device will be only splash-proof and not completely waterproof as initially advertised.

The delay has led to criticism of the firm on social media networks, and has helped rival companies like Misfit, reports say.

According to Jawbone, the USP of UP3 is its use of the bioimpedance technique to track the user’s pulse.
