Two British banks to allow access to accounts using fingerprint technology

  • Customers of British banks RBS and NatWest can now access their accounts through smartphones with the help of fingerprint recognition technology, media reports said.

The customers of the two banks would need to activate their security information feature to begin with, but after that they just need to use the Apple Touch ID in subsequent attempts.

If three login attempts fail, customers will have to re-enter passcodes, the banks said.
