Twitter rejects U.S. court demand for Occupy tweets

Micro-blogging service Twitter has resisted a U.S. court order demanding it to hand over the message history of an activist who took part in the Occupy Wall Street protests last year.
Twitter has contested the New York state court judge’s ruling that the firm rather than its users owns messages.
The American Civil Liberties Union praised the company for defending free speech rights.
