Teens are ditching Facebook but that's no big deal
December 29 , 2013
A recent study in Europe suggests that teenagers are ditching Facebook and moving towards Intagram, Twitter, and other services.
The reason for them leaving is that their parents have joined the website. Although, the trend probably holds true for the U.S. as well, it's not a matter of concern for Mark Zuckerberg.
"Truth is, Facebook might not need teens as much as many people seem to think," Selena Larson of ReadWrite writes. "Facebook is attempting to become a platform for finding and sharing views and current events, not just for interacting with friends."
