Tech giants reach $415m agreement on 'non-poaching' lawsuit settlement

  • The world’s biggest technology companies - Google, Apple, Adobe, and Intel - have reached an agreement of a $415 million settlement to resolve a lawsuit. The U.S. lawsuit stated that the firms had a non-poaching pact with each other that hampered job prospects of the staff.

The 2011 US-based case had claimed $3 billion in damages for over 64,000 workers in Google, Apple, Adobe and Intel.

A judge had rejected a $324.5 million settlement that was offered last year, saying it was very low.
