Tag Heuer partners with Google and Intel to create smartwatch

Tag Heuer has joined the smartwatch bandwagon. The Swiss watchmaker will be creating an Android Wear-powered smartwatch. The company said that it will partner with Google and Intel to build the device. The announcement was made at the Baselworld trade show in Switzerland. Tag Heuer is the first Swiss company to join Google's wearable tech ecosystem. According to reports, the smartwatch is expected to be released later this year. Commenting on its partnership, Intel said that the 155-year-old Tag Heuer is known for "being dynamic, disruptive and modern", and these qualities make it a good partner.
