Syrian hackers hit US Marine Corps

  • After attacking the New York Times website last week, the Syrian Electronic Army has hit the US Marine Corps.

The recruiting website for the Marines had been replaced by a page that called Obama a traitor and argued that the Syrian government and America face a common al-Qaeda enemy. The page also featured pictures of people wearing US military uniforms and holding up signs that said statements such as "I will not fight for al-Qaeda".

The page also said "the Syrian army should be your ally and not your enemy" adding that soldiers should refuse their orders and concentrate on defending their homeland.

The site is being controlled by the Marines once again and reports say no information had been on risk.
