Smartphones, iPads may affect toddlers' self-control: Study
February 2 , 2015
A new study has revealed that using iPads and smartphones may hamper toddlers' ability to exercise self-control.
The excessive use of mobile devices at a very young age is adversely impacting the behavior and development of children, the research at Boston University School of Medicine said.
The researchers flagged concern over the fact that the detrimental effects of such devices on very young children are not properly understood, though their use is already common in that age group.
