Saud's Shaheen II enters list of top 10 most powerful supercomputers

A supercomputer in Saudi Arabia has entered the list of the world’s ten most powerful computers.
This is the first time that a Middle East-based supercomputer has made it to the list.
The Shaheen II, a Cray XC40 computer at Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, is the seventh most powerful supercomputer in the planet, according to the organization Top 500.
The Chinese supercomputer Tianhe-2 continues to be at the top of the list.
