Researchers invent world's thinnest lens
March 12 , 2016
A team of Australian scientists led by Yueriu ‘Larry’ Lu in Australian National University have created world’s thinnest lens, claiming it to be 2000 times thinner than human hair. This creation will come as a breakthrough in nanotechnology. The lens measures 6.3 nanometres as compared to the previous thinnest lens measuring 50 nanometres. It can also be used in creating bendable computer screens and flexible displays.
