Record-breaking ship is now taking to the water

  • The new largest floating vessel in the world is 150 feet longer than the Empire State Building in New York.

It's basically a natural gas facility, which is capable of producing enough natural gas to supply to any massive city. Reports suggest that the vessel has entered the water at about 1,600 feet in South Korea but requires towing since it's not capable of moving under its own stream.

The best thing about the "ship" is that it can withstand harsh weather and even hurricanes. However, people will have to wait until 2017 to get to see it.

It's status as being the longest vessel is most likely short-lived. Shell mentioned that it's already working on another facility bigger than this one.
