Pirated movies now on Chromecast?

  • Popcorn Time, an open source project, has announced that its software is now compatible with Chromecast for the users of Windows.

    Mac users will also have their Chromecast-ready updates in future, Popcorn Time, a streaming service for pirated films, said.

    Chromecast, a streaming device, sends video from the Chrome browser or from Netflix, YouTube, and similar services to the TV.

    Popcorn Time was launched in early 2014 and has become popular as it covers users’ digital tracks.
