Pandora posts Q1 loss of $28.6 million

  • Internet radio service Pandora posted a first quarter loss of $28.6 million, equal to 16 cents a share, on total revenue of $125.5 million on Thursday.

    In the same period last year, the firm lost $20.2 million, or 12 cents a share on $80.8 million in sales.

    Analysts had expected Pandora to lose 10 cents a share on $123.9 million in revenue.

    Shares in Pandora were up by more than 11 percent in after-hours trading following the release of its results.
