North Korea refuses to deny cyber-attack

  • The North Korean government has refused to deny its role in a cyber-attack carried out on Sony Pictures before the release of a movie on Kim Jong-un, according to media reports.

Sony’s computers were targeted and unreleased films reportedly made available online. The company is probing the incident.

North Korea had earlier this year complained to the UN and the US over ‘The Interview,’ the comedy film. In the film the CIA hires two reporters to assassinate Kim Jong-un.
