North Korea blamed for South Korea bank and TV cyber-attacks
April 11 , 2013
South Korea on Wednesday accused North Korean spies of plotting a series of cyber-attacks last month.
According to investigators in Seoul, the code involved was identical to that used in malware previously linked to Pyongyang.
Tens of thousands of computers malfunctioned leading to disruptions at banks and television broadcasters in the South.
North Korea has not commented on the allegations, which comes amidst escalating tensions on the Korean peninsula.
