Nokia start-up to launch MeeGo smartphone

A Finnish start-up that was formed by former Nokia employees and uses technology ditched by the handset maker has announced plans to launch its first smartphone later this year.
Jolla will use MeeGo software created by Nokia and Intel for its products.
The start-up said it would unveil the first model later this year.
Analysts expect the new company to struggle to break into the highly competitive smartphone market, which is dominated by Google and Apple.
