No new versions after Windows 10, says Microsoft

  • After Windows 10, Microsoft will stop producing new versions of the world’s best-known operating system.

Microsoft executive Jerry Nixon recently said that Windows 10 will be the last version of the desktop software.

The company said that Windows would be updated and improved in future in regular installments and “delivered as a service”, but it is the end of the road for any new stand-out versions of the operating system.
